Behind the Velvet Rope

In just one week, AIM will be celebrating its 6-month anniversary. What started as a spark of an idea on a warm, sunny day at Bar de la Poste on Rue Fortin in Courtomer, France, quickly turned into a fully operational digital marketing agency.
Just to recap who we are… AIM was founded late last year to serve the online marketing needs of Agora businesses. We currently have seven team members spread between Waterford, Ireland and Baltimore, USA. Six of these employees are veterans of Agora, with extensive backgrounds in Financial, Health, B2B and Travel publishing. AIM now works directly with six Agora businesses and one external publisher on advancing their lead gen and paid acquisition efforts across all online channels.
Over the years AIM team members (AIMers, as we affectionately call ourselves) have worked closely with almost everyone reading this e-letter in a consultative relationship. Though we’ve moved to an agency model, let me assure you, that consultative relationship has not changed. If you have any question at any time about anything… please reach out to one of us. Only when we need to commit resources to a project will we discuss a more comprehensive relationship.
As we’re on the cusp of our six-month-anniversary, I thought I’d lift the velvet rope to give you a glimpse into the future plans of AIM.
Account Management – As we solidify the skill sets and process within our Google-certified organization we will reach out to all businesses under the Agora umbrella to see if there is a need for our services. Grant Perry or I will be contacting you. If there isn’t an immediate need for our account management services, I would encourage you to keep us in mind when you have bandwidth restrictions. We’re ready to jump in immediately when you want to scale the next hot promo or have the frustrating experience of losing an employee in a key role. We are ready and able to hit the ground running.
Training – Grant and I have been training Agora businesses for over a decade. This training will be expanded in the latter half of 2016. Some of the skill sets in the world of online marketing can be complex… combine that with the direct response marketing learning curve and you have a very slow ramp up. AIM can fix that with our New Employee Immersion Training. Send your new, green, employee to our offices for two weeks and we’ll send back an employee that can hit the ground running. AIM will also be building out workshops and seminars on a wide range of topics such as Google Analytics, SEO, Paid Search and Video Marketing.
Software – Some of you may be familiar with our sister organization, Threefold Systems. They are the development arm of Agora… ready and able to handle all of your programming needs. What you don’t know is that AIM has been quietly working with Threefold on an application we’ve coined RapidFire. We’re just about to go into Beta testing with one of our clients and hope to release it to the public in a few months. Without revealing too much… lets just say the first iteration of RapidFire will let you truly integrate your email and social media efforts while simultaneously injecting them with steroids. If you cant tell, we’re very excited about this launch!
Publishing – Last but not least, we always strive to practice what we preach, so in 2017 AIM will enter the publishing vertical. We haven’t fully fleshed this out yet, but we plan on a newsletter, club and a wide assortment of training guides. Even better, if you are a business under the Agora umbrella… you can get these for free!
